Plain and simple.
Obvella is in private preview. Public visitors can join the launch list; approved testers can use the separate private app. We try to collect as little information as possible.
What we collect
If you join the early-access list, we store the email address you provide and the date you signed up. Joining the public waitlist does not require an address, name, or product inventory.
Why we collect it
We use your email to contact you about Obvella's launch and occasional updates related to the product. We do not sell early-access email addresses or use them for third-party advertising.
Where it lives
We use Cloudflare to host the website and store waitlist signups. Cloudflare may process routine technical information needed to deliver and protect the site. The site uses Google Fonts, which may result in your browser contacting Google's font servers. We don't set our own advertising or analytics cookies.
Private-preview accounts
Approved testers can sign in at app.obvella.com using Cloudflare Access. Access processes your login identity and uses authentication cookies. We store your email and the item records, notes, purchase details, photos, receipts and documents that you choose to add.
The application runs on Cloudflare Workers, D1, private R2 storage, Queues and Workers AI. When you request identification, document extraction or an answer, relevant uploaded content and product information may be processed by Workers AI. Public product discovery sends manufacturer/model identifiers to public information sources; it does not intentionally send your receipts, serial numbers or private notes to those sources.
Your ownership records and uploads are private to your account. Only reviewed manufacturer product knowledge can be added to the shared catalog; your private ownership details are not published. The app does not sell your collection data.
Use Settings in the app to export your records or delete your account and active stored files. Individual items and files can also be deleted. Unattached uploads are removed after approximately 24 hours. Provider backups and necessary operational/security logs may follow separate retention periods. Automated product information can be incomplete or wrong; confirm important details against the exact manufacturer instructions.
Remove your waitlist address
You can remove your email from the prelaunch list below. We won't tell you whether an address was registered, to avoid disclosing subscription information.
